My InkTober drawing today is a red paper lantern commonly found hanging outside tea houses and restaurants in the Gion district in Kyoto, Japan.
Last year, my husband and I had a great time walking around the Gion district and learning a little bit about the world-famous yet mysterious and elusive geiko and maiko of Kyoto.
